Murphy Nolan Parkhurst Jr. (Joe P.), age 67, of Minneapolis journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on December 9, 1947 in Red Lake, Minnesota the son of Murphy Sr. and Mary L. Beaulieu.

Murphy served in the U.S. Army 101st and the 82nd Airborne-Viet Nam.

On December 10, 1973, Murphy N. Parkhurst Jr. and Margaret L. Bagley (Magi) were joined in marriage in Minneapolis, MN.

Survived by his loving wife of forty one years: Magi; children: Joseph N. (Crystal) Parkhurst, George A. Parkhurst, Amber D. Parkhurst, and Autumn J. Parkhurst; six grandchildren: Mathew Parkhurst, Alexis Parkhurst, Emma Poole, Zander Papageorgiou, Matthew Kronening Jr. and Devin Hinden; a brother and sister: Martin (Jan) Parkhurst and Emily (John) Johnson; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, a sister Georgianna and by a brother Randy.

Funeral services for will be held on Friday, March 20th at 10:00 A.M. at All Nations Indian Church in Minneapolis. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

An all night wake will be held on Thursday, March 19th beginning at 5:00 P.M. at All Nations Indian Church in Minneapolis.
