Superintendent's Summary of the Red Lake School District #38 Special Board Meeting

The primary topics addressed at the meeting pertained to the construction of the new cafeteria at the Middle School and High School. Construction is due to begin in June, with an estimated date of occupancy in the fall of 2016. Lee Meyer, of DLR Architects, the firm hired by the Board for this project, reviewed the initial plans which were approved by the board. In addition, the Board approved calling for bids to construct, furnish, and equip the cafeteria. The approval of a construction manager was tabled until the next regular board meeting, scheduled for March 18th.
