Cass Lake man sentenced to 20 years for attempted murder

WALKER — A Cass Lake man was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison for attempted murder after a kidnapping and stabbing in August.

Sheldon James Armstrong III, 22, was charged with felony first-degree premeditated attempted murder, kidnapping, second-degree assault and theft of a motor vehicle. A jury found him guilty on all counts Jan. 8 in Cass County Court.
