Warriors down Pine River-Backus 90-79 - P11

RED LAKE, MN - The last time the Red Lake Warriors played Pine River-Backus on January 2, 2015 in Pine River, they lost 80-75. This time it was much different, as they took a halftime 49-41 lead all the way to win 90-79.

In the first game Red Lake had also played without 3 of their top players. In Red Lake however, they were in full force. And although Pine River did jump out to a quick start and led 8-0 in the first quarter, once Red Lake caught up, they never gave up their lead.

The Warriors are now 18-5 on the season and travel to Sacred Heart for their last game of the regular season on Feb. 17th. All games start with the JV at 6 PM and varsity to follow.
