Pine Ridge men convicted in breaking of man's leg Print Email

Two men from Pine Ridge have been convicted of assault and face several years in prison after a jury found them guilty of breaking a man's leg and hand during an attack in June.

Wesley Running Shield, 28, and 33-year-old Michael Alford of Pine Ridge were convicted after a four-day jury trial in Rapid City on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury, according to a release from the office of U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson.
