Elk poaching leads to fines for 5 people

Five people have been fined in an elk poaching case decided last month in Lake County Justice Court.

Havre resident Reese Hindman pleaded no contest to hunting during a closed season, receiving a $135 fine and ordered to pay $250 in restitution to the tribe.
