Pine Ridge Leaders Call For LNI Boycott Unless Tournament Leaves Rapid City

In the wake of an incident involving students from American Horse School in Allen, a resolution by tribal leaders asks organizers of the Lakota Nations Invitational (LNI) basketball tournament to move that event from Rapid City.

Earlier this month, the LNI Board indicated intentions to keep that event in Rapid City, but on Tuesday, the Oglala Sioux Tribal Council approved a resolution, requesting that the LNI Board reverse their earlier decision and move the December tournament to a different site.
