Larry Alan Looking

September 11, 1981 - Saturday, February 21, 2015

Larry Alan Looking was born to Larry William Looking and Martha Carol Fast Horse-Looking. He left this world loved and surrounded by his mother, his wife and his brothers and sisters. He returned home hearing words of love while holding his mothers and sisters hands.

For those lucky enough to know Larry, knew that he was a free spirit in life. Larry had to ability to find the humor in any situation, if you were feeling down his loving heart would lift you up. He could always lift the spirits of those around him. He was competitive and fierce, which often lead to situations that created lasting memories for his family, wife and friends. His heart was strong and his willingness to stand up for those he loved will always be remembered.

As a child, he was a grass dancer who loved dancing at pow-wows. He enjoyed participating in sweat lodges and other cultural activities with his family and friends. Fishing with his siblings was one of his great pleasures in life and his love of the outdoors is shared by his brothers. As a young man he enjoyed spending time on the lake and reminiscing about good times with those close to him. He was intelligent and helped his wife achieve her dreams of earning her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. He would wake early in the morning on Sunday's to listen to his mothers radio show, and would often tell her that he was intensely proud of her achievements. His family, his wife, and all his many friends will miss him greatly. We feel blessed and honored to have his presence in our lives. We all look forward to the day we will be together again.
