Krista Marie Fisherman, Bineskwe which means "Thunder Bird Woman", 35 years old, of Redby, passed away at the Sanford Hospital in Bemidji on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1980 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Charles and Darlene (Jones) Fisherman.

Krista loved to listen to music and spend time with her family and friends. She loved being a CNA at the Jourdain Perpich Care Center in Red Lake. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Those family members she joins again include her sons; Cedric Smith and baby Derek Smith, parents; Darlene and Charles Fisherman, sister; Sheri Annette Jones and brother; Charles Fisherman, grandparents; Pauline and Theodore Jones, Lillian and Frank Fisherman.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three brothers, Courtney Fisherman, Corey Fisherman and Alan Jones, four sons; Xavier Fisherman, Angelo Fisherman, Clayton Frances and Ethan Fisherman, two daughters; Angel Fisherman and Debra Frances, three nieces; Keahna, Miranda, and Nathanya, four aunts; Mary Berg, Elizabeth Jones, Marilyn Kingbird, and Vicki Juarez, two uncles; Dean Jones and Richard Jones, three great aunts; Patsy, Mary and Lucille, two great uncles; Richard and Joseph, special aunt Debbie Barrett, other aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends.

A wake service for Krista will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Redby Community Center in Redby and will continue until moving to the Redby Community Church for the 1:00 p.m., service on Monday, February 23. Pastor Tom Pollock will officiate. Pallbearers for Krista will be: Alan Jones, Courtney Fisherman, Joel Jones, Michael Jones, Gordon Jones, Brian Johnson, Jason Jones, Ryan Jones, Terry Jourdain, Rudine Jones, Paul Jones, and Rodney Stillday, Jr. Alternate pallbearers will be: Gilbert Juarez, Alfred Berg and Marc Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ashley Jones, Karin King, Darilyn Jones, Liz Howard, Gerilyn Auginash, Alicia Cloud, Melissa Jones, Karyn Jones, Sheila Wakanabo, Jessica Auginash, K.T. Jones, Keahna Wilson, Nathanya Jones, Shannon Jones, Ruth Auginash, Kelly Defoe, Sharlene Hardy, Heather Stillday, Debbie Barrett, Jan Jones, Miranda Jones, Salina Jones and Vicki Juarez. Interment will be held in the Redby Community Cemetery in Redby following the service on Monday.
