James Martin Carlson 51, of Cass Lake passed away on February 19, 2015 at his home. James was born in Cass Lake, Minnesota on March 24, 1963 to William and Pearl (Clucky) Carlson. He grew to adulthood and attended school in Cass Lake. James worked for the Cass Lake Hospital in the 70's and later was the main caregiver for his mother. He enjoyed playing his electric guitar, fishing and cars. James was friendly, generous, and made people happy with his sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. James is survived by his brothers Donald Carlson, Cass Lake, MN and Robert (Drenda) Carlson, Pike Bay, MN; Sisters Connie Brunette, Cass Lake, MN, Helen Carlson, Walker, MN and Barbara Carlson, Cass Lake, MN. Several Nieces and Nephews. An overnight wake for James will begin on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 5:00 pm and continue until the 11:00 am funeral service Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Veterans Memorial Building, Cass Lake, MN with Rev George Ross and Rev.
