Deanne Kay Stately, 60 years old, of Bemidji, MN, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Essentia Health care center in Fargo, ND. She was born on March 6, 1954 in Park Rapids, the daughter of Frank Smith and Florence (Lewis) Jacob.

Deanne loved to spend time with children, especially her grandchildren. She liked to play board games, going to the movie theater, and watching her favorite t.v. shows. One of the main reasons she would spend time with her grandchildren was the opportunity to watch the cartoons she loved. Deanne liked to volunteer her time. She spent over eight years volunteering and helping out at the 7th Day Adventist Church clothing store. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends that knew her.

Family that she joins again include her husband; Gerald Stately, Sr., parents; Frank and Florence, brother; Daniel Smith, and grandchildren; Avery Stately and Tristian White.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her significant other Harry "Josh" Blackburn of Bemidji, sons; Gerald Stately, Jr. of Red Lake and Jeff (Alicia) Stately of Redby, daughter; Kelly Madding Morton of Mayfield, KY, brothers; Richard Smith of Bemidji, Ron (Patti) Cournoyer of Cass Lake and Duane Jacob of Peoria, IL, sisters; Denise Jacob of Pekin, IL, Mary Jacob of Pekin, IL and Susan Kirkpatrick of Florida, special aunt; Sharon Lewis of Morton, IL, aunt and uncle Linda and Don Lewis of Pekin, IL, grandchildren; Danielle, Delilah, Dmitrii, Lamont "Dee" White, Ashley, Cole, Zach and Madison.

Funeral services for Deanne will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker, MN. Honorary pallbearers for Deanne will be her grandchildren; Danielle, Delilah, Dmitrii, Lamont "Dee" White, Ashley, Cole, Zach and Madison, special friends Rose Cournoyer, Mae, and Rick Roy, all her nieces and nephews.
