Timothy John Widstrom, 32, of Laporte Township, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Cass Lake. He was born on December 23, 1982 in Minneapolis, the son of Charles Staples III, and Stacey Lee Widstrom.

Tim loved to play dominos, going to the casino, spending time with his son, dad, and the rest of his family. He also liked to take time to read the Bible.

Family that went on before Tim include his mother, Stacey, both of his maternal and paternal grandparents. Uncle Ronald and numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

The family that he leaves behind include his dad; Charles Staples III of Cass Lake, son; Dyllon Widstrom of Onigum, brothers; Charles Widstrom of Andover, and Robert Francisco of Blaine, many other family and friends.

A wake service for Tim will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 and will continue until the 1:00 p.m. service on Monday, January 26 all held at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake. Rev. Mark R. Olson will officiate. Pallbearers for Tim will include David Staples, Sr., Tory (TC) Widstrom, Richard (Rico) Widstrom, Troy Widstrom, Aaron Oothoudt, Frank Oothoudt, Shawn Goodman, Sr. and Michael Staples. Honorary Pallbearers include Charles Widstrom, Robert Francisco, Michael (Julio) Staples, Rachel Hamilton, Cherilyn Staples, Carmen Hamilton and Cheryl Staples. Interment will be held in the Goodman Family Cemetery in Cass Lake following the service on Monday.
