Yvonne Lucille Wilson, age 69, of Keizer, Oregon and formerly of Sisseton, South Dakota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, January 16th, 2015 in Jefferson, Oregon.

She was born on January 20, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Ernie Edward McCoy Sr. and Hannah Starlight.

Yvonne grew up in Granite Falls, Minnesota and has spent the last thirty years in Oregon.

She was a cook at The Chemawa Indian School in Keizer, Oregon. Yvonne has recently retired and went often to the Oregon Coast.

She enjoyed Bingo.

Yvonne is survived by children: Sheila A. Branson of Kilmarnock, Virginia and Shaun L. Naranjo of Jefferson, Oregon; a grandson: Michael R. Branson; sisters: Esther McCoy of Keizer, Oregon and Wanda Lucas of Wilsonville, Oregon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband: Francis L. Wilson, her parents: Ernie Edward McCoy Sr. and Hannah Starlight, a brother: Ernie Edward McCoy Jr. and by a sister: Colleen McCoy.

Funeral services for Yvonne Wilson will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Community Center at 11 am.

An all night wake will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 beginning at 7 pm.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Angelo Moreno and Michael Branson.

Casket Bearers will be: Dyami Gonsalves, Ray Burley, Gerald Amos, Tom Wilson, Leon Gonsalves, Jonathan Starlight, Jimmy Halbert and Eddie Halbert.
