David Alan Gurno

David Alan Gurno, age 66, of Minneapolis, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, January 9th, 2015 at Augusta Nursing Home and Hospice in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was born in Red Lake, Minnesota on April 27th, 1948 to Frank W. & Ambrosia (Gurneau) Gurno.

David was a minister for the New Tribe Ministries with his wife Debora in their home. He was a volunteer with the food shelf called Jerico Road. He worked as a Certified Protection Officer for Wells Fargo Bank. Many times he would go down to the lake and pray for those less fortunate and for the homeless.

David is survived by his wife Debora (Feather) Gurno; a brother: Thomas Gurno of Thief River Falls, Minnesota and sisters: Phyllis Gurno and Shelda Lussier of Red Lake, Minnesota; numerous nieces & nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota is serving the family.
