Red Lake Lady Warriors now 5-0 after 87-23 win over Laporte at home - P15

RED LAKE - The Red Lake Lady Warriors had no trouble with Laporte on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 on their home court, taking a 46-13 halftime lead and finishing 87-23 for their fifth consecutive win.

The Wildcats were on the scoreboard first with a layup by Kalei Kerby, followed by 2 more by Keairah Urrutia, and Red Lake answered until they were knotted at 10-10 After that, Red Lake went on a 15-0 run that put them up 25-10, and kept it up until it was 36-12. It was a lead they would never give up.

After outscoring them 46-13 in the first half, they outscored the Wildcats 41-10 in the second.

Finishing for the night, Averi Holthusen led all scorers with 17 points, Alexis Desjarlait finished with 14, Grace White hit for 11, Samantha Roy and Danielle Seki each added 10 and Angel McClain netted 8.

Kalei Kerby and Keairah Urrutia each had 9 for Laporte.

The win puts the Lady Warriors at 5-0 on the season and they will travel to Kelliher-Northome on December 16 and Blackduck on the 18th before traveling to play in the Ogilvie Christmas Tournament on December 19th.

Red Lake's 6, 7 and 8th Grade Girls were also victorious against the Wildcats, 40-6. Laporte did not have a JV Girls Team.
