FACILITY GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

RATE OF PAY: Depending upon experience

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: December 05, 2014

CLOSES: December 19, 2014

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the direct supervision of the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to clean and maintain outside areas of Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Mows lawn, trims and edges around walks, flower beds and buildings.

 Sprays lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides. Rakes and bags or burns leaves.

 Cleans grounds and removes liter.

 Shovels snow from walks, loading dock and roof.

 Spreads ice-melt on public passage ways to prevent ice buildup.

 Plants and waters grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.

 Repairs fences, gates, walls and walks. Paints outside buildings and accessories.

 Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts.

 Maintains various equipment including mowers, spreaders, trimmers, tractors, snow removal equipment, weed cutters, edging tools, etc.

 Washes outside buildings including windows, tile, brick, sidewalks, canopy and signs.

 Analyzes and recognizes deficiencies or problem areas and provides solutions to achieve desired results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the Facility Grounds Maintenance have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Valid Driver's license required and must be insurable.
