Angela Lacy Adams made her journey to the spirit world on November 22, 2014 in Sisseton, South Dakota. Angela was born on September 25, 1989 in Sisseton, South Dakota to Seava Decoteau. Angela grew up in Sisseton, South Dakota where she also worked later in her life. Her joy was to take care of people and she worked at the Tekawitha Nursing Home and in the food service at Coteau des Praire Hospital. Angela attended the Tiospa Zina Tribal School where she met many life long friends.

Angela made her home in Agency Village, South Dakota where she spent most of her time raising her three children who she cherished very much. Angela was a beautiful spirit and was kind to everyone she met and knew her. Angela loved to spend time with her children, family, and friends. She also liked to post pictures of her babies and talked about them everyday. A few of Angela's favorite things: the color purple, watching movies, listening to music, dancing, taking her babies to swim at hotels, and hanging out with family and friends at the tribe's casinos visiting with people. She loved riding a four-wheeler, she'd ride it until it ran out of gas. Angela was known for her kind spirit, beauty, and laughter.

Angela is survived by her partner Justin Arbach, her daughter Amara Adams and sons Jeriyan Adams and Jariyas Arbach; her parents Seava and Clarence Sartwell of Sisseton, South Dakota; Great-Grandmother Evangeline Brant; brothers Brandon (Josie) Adams, Dillion (Tori) Decoteau, Atraio Sartwell, Nico Sartwell, Rett Sartwell, Sinjin Sartwell as well as many others that called her "sister," nieces/nephews, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Thomas Brant and grandmother Cleone "Peewee" Brant.
