Alberta Johnson Spike (naa-quay), 74 of Red Lake died Friday, October 10, 2014 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN with Pastor Tom Pollock officiating. A wake will begin at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Redby Community Center and go until the time of service. Interment will be at the Fox Point Cemetery in Redby, MN.

She was born May 19, 1940 in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Albert and Alice (Gibbs) Johnson. She loved taking care of her family; especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa (Tony) Harrison; son Franklin Spike; brother Oliver Johnson; sisters Margaret White and Charlotte Johnson; 7 grandchildren Rodney, Andrea, Ricardo, Rowan, Anavey, Aiyana and Tony, Jr. and 1 great grandchild Dacius.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Spike, 2 sons Ricardo Lussier and Justin Johnson; granddaughter Alicia; grandson Trevon and sister Doris Johnson

Active Casketbearers Rodney, Ricardo, Rowan, Chris, Terry, Jerry, Owen, Jim, Josh and Albert.
