St. Mary's Mission School selected to represent on "Real Presence Radio"

St. Mary's Mission School has been selected to represent itself on “Real Presence Radio” on Thursday, September 18th at 2:00 pm. I am having a contest for the best 5th or 6th grade reader of the St. Kateri Prayer to represent the school on the radio. The students are excited and are getting pretty competitive to be selected to read this prayer.

The prayer will be read live at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18 on 1370am radio or 1280am radio.

I am excited for this experience, and proud that we have excited students to participate.

Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds

And in the silence of my heart and

Whose breath gives life to all the world.

I need your stregnth and wisdom.

Let me Walk in beauty, and make my

Eyes ever behold the beauty of creation.

Make my hands respect all that you

Have made and the people you have

Created in your image and likeness.

Make me wise so that I may understand the

Word you desire to plant deepwithin my heart.

I seek strength, not to be greater than

My brother of sister, but to fight my greatist enemy- myself.

Make me always ready to come to you

With a clean heart and enlightened eyes.

So that when light fades as the fading sunset,

My spitir may come to you

With the words of St. Kateri on my lips:

“ I am no longer my own, I have given myself

entirely to Jesus Christ…… Jesus I love you!”
