Obituary for Celestine "Tillie" Beaulieu Colhoff Sunrise-May 6, 1939 - Sunset-September 11, 2014 Celestine "Tillie" Beaulieu Colhoff, 75, of Red Lake, MN, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at her home in Red Lake.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Red Lake, MN with Father Jerry Rogers officiating. A wake will begin 2:00pm, Monday, September 15, 2014, at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN, and will continue until the time of the service under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Celestine was born May 6, 1939, to Norbert "Sam" Colhoff and Agnes "Emma" (Beaulieu) Colhoff in Red Lake, MN while she attended elementary school at St. Mary's Mission in Red lake and she traveled to Holy Rosary Boarding school in Pine Ridge, SD where she graduated in 1957. After Graduating high school she enrolled into The US Navy and served 4 years. She was a person who believed Education was a must so she traveled to Albuquerque, NM and enrolled in to the LPN Program and Graduated. Once she completed her internship she decided to further her Education and Graduated from Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD in 1980 as a Registered Nurse. Tillie then began her life of traveling with 3 of her children to various states and working on different Indian Reservations with the Indian Health Service in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Arizona. She then decided to retire in 1995and moved home to Red Lake, MN to enjoy her retirement. While she was home she was restless and began working for the Red Lake School District as a Reading tutor to empower students who struggled with their reading skills. Tillie was very concerned and compassionate about our Children's education and was always encouraging Higher Education to all those she would encounter. She enjoyed visits to the casino and loved to play keno she was also active in sports such as Basketball, Softball and Bowling throughout her younger years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends which she always greeted with a smile and also had a story to go with. She loved to talk and had many stories to tell in her eventful life. Helping others was her way of life that attracted her to so many people that knew her she was known for helping out families by doing dishes at wakes when they lost family members and as her age began to take a toll she helped the families out by sending a monetary donation with a sympathy card. She loved giving items away to others from the goodness of her heart because she enjoyed helping others out and she cared for many.

Celestine is survived by her sister Laurentia "Lorry'" Colhoff of Red Lake, MN Children Douglas Colhoff (Special Friend-Roseanne Cournoyer) Red Lake, MN/Bemidji, MN Sean White- St. Paul, MN, Danielle White -Bemidji, MN and Tanya G. White- Hotevilla, AZ. She will also be missed greatly by her 13 grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family and friends all over the country.

Celestine was preceded in death by her Parents- Sam and Emma Colhoff, Siblings-Vincent, Eldora and John Colhoff Sr. Aunts-Della Dudley, Martha Yellow, Vivian Jones and Marian Beaulieu. Uncles-Georgie Beaulieu, Bernard Beaulieu and Theodore Beaulieu and a granddaughter Ambria S. Aragon.

Active Pallbearers will include: Damein Thunder, Vincent White Sr., Harold "Dunsey" White Jr., George White III, Sheldon Bailey, Lester Lussier Sr., Dayton Carlson, Douglas Colhoff Jr., Alternates-Austin and Denver Aragon

Honorary Pallbearers will include-Celeste "Westy" Beaulieu, Candy Beaulieu, Deanie Bailey, Glennis Dudley, Joyce Barrett, Roberta Smith, Leslie Lussier, Cheri Goodwin, Debbie Barret, Lucille Auginash, Mary Gibbs, Emily Parkhurst, Millie Brockie, Dixie Bluestone, Shirley Cogburn and Sr. Glenna Raybell OSB, Bobbi Jo Beaulieu-Cobenais, Gloria Bedeau and Donald Silverstar, Sr.
