Alternative Child Care Teachers - Oshkiimaajitahdah Child Care

Stipend Announcement

Opportunity for any community member. Sigh up with Oshkiimaajitahdah Child Care to be "alternates" for our training days. You will need to pass a background check and U.A. before being approved.

These individuals will be on call and considered as "Alternate Child Care Teachers" for the days the regular teachers are away for training. Contracts will be signed for a minimum of twelve days per calendar year.

They will be given a stipend of $75.00 for each/every day they are called in; proper advance notice will be given.

They will open/close the child care and follow the curriculum for the day, or choose their own following Child Care guidelines.

Their duties will also include cooking healthy meals of breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Proper handling of food items and cleaning the center will be followed.

The Child Care will remain open although parents will be informed of these training days and will have the opportunity to9 find alternate child care if they choose.
