Elderly Maintenance Program

Open: September 5, 2014

Closing: September 12, 2014 @ 3:00 p.m.

Primary Function:

Involves physical outside work, cleaning reservation areas, assisting Elderly with related tasks. Reports to Director of Elderly Maintenance Program, part-time seasonal position, applicants must reside in the Ponemah District. Salary $9.00 hourly.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Pick up trash along roads.

• Make sure there is no type of debris in the yard and responsible for cutting the grass.

• Must make sure lawns are cut in a neat and orderly manner.

• Mows, edges, trims, and prunes landscaped areas, including trees and rakes lawns.

• Must be able to load a light truck with trimmings, trash, ect.

• Must be able to drive the truck to a trash disposal area.

• Capable to operate a variety of maintenance equipment; lawn mowers, brush cutters, power saws, etc.

• Assist Elderly with winterization, such as putting plastic on windows, ect.

• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Proof of Valid Driver's License.

• Physically capable of handling job requirements.

• Be reliable and dependable.

• Agree to maintain a drug-free workplace and submit to employee drug testing.
