Tamara Marie Fairbanks, 51, of Cass Lake, MN, died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Services will be 11:00 am Friday, September 5, 2014 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Cass Lake, MN with Father Francis Kabiru officiating. A wake will begin at 11:00am, Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN, and will continue until the time of the Final Reviewal at 10:00am. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

She was born on March 26, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Herman and Nancy (Leith) Fairbanks. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoyed playing softball and played in many tournaments. She moved to Cass Lake, MN in 1994, and started working for Leech Lake Gaming as a Table Games Dealer. She enjoyed watching wrestling and the Vikings on TV. She loved bingo, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by: Children, Derek Fairbanks-Roy, Evan Henry, Granddaughters, Tasia and Mahtaya, Life Partner, Izetta Dunning, Step-Children, Bobby Marcell, Ganiva French, Shea Lynn French, Mother, Nancy Fairbanks, Brothers, Thomas (Margie) Fairbanks, Guy (Barbara) Fairbanks, Devery Fairbanks, 2 Nieces, 4 Nephews, and Cousins

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father Herman, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
