Position Summary:

To oversee all aspects of operation within the Red Lake Fisheries. Responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of work between employees and acts as problem solver by ensuring the Fisheries stays on schedule with regard to the production of commercial fish processing and meets or exceeds the goals set by the Red Lake, Inc. Board of Directors. Reports to the Red Lake, Inc. CEO.

Essential Functions:

Develops a comprehensive operating plan, communicates it effectively, and successfully executes the plan and delivers the desired results.

Manages the timely delivery of high quality products to customers.

Manages and utilizes highly efficient, streamlines, and robust process and systems in all areas (operationally and organizationally).

Understands and analyzes cost/financial performance and implements actions for required results as well as provides accounting and billing oversight.

Initiates comprehensive, timely and appropriate capital requests to maintain and enhance plant performance.

Leads all efforts by example to provide the highest level of safety and environmental performance.

Develops and inspires a workforce to achieve maximum employee utilization and satisfaction and periodically measure the effectiveness.

Manages material supply chain to ensure timely deliveries, acceptable inventory levels, and uninterrupted production at minimum costs.

Complies with all Red Lake, Inc. policies and procedures and any external regulatory requirements including FDA rules and HACCP.

Proactively analyzes and manages all relative operations performance and reports regularly on issues and progress.

Represents the Red Lake Fisheries to customers and supplies in operations related matters.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

GED/High School Diploma.

B.A. in Business Management and manufacturing management background preferred.

Possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing with diversified groups of people.

Possess proven analytical skills in management, leadership, problem solving, and team building.

Must possess a strong business background and ability to maintain accurate records.

Possess strong orientation for excellent service to customers.

Salary: DOQ
