Jayden Jeffrey Jones, 15 months old, began his spiritual journey on August 12, 2014 in Green Bay, WI. He was born on May 13, 2013 in Bemidji, MN the son of Joel Jones and Clarissa Smith.

Jayden liked to sing at pow-wows, dance and play with his sisters and brothers, spend time with his mom, dad, uncles, aunties and cousins.

Jayden was preceded in death by his great grandparents Mary Jane and Andrew Cloud, Delores and Herbert Smith, Sr. sister; Lil' Flower Lyn Smith, aunts; Paulette Jones, Melissa Butcher, grandpa; Benjamin Black-Cloud, great grandparents; Theodore and Pauline Jones, Robert and Mary Jane Stillday, uncle; Randall Jones, great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his parents; Clarissa Smith and Joel Jones, foster parents; Della and Jim Jones, maternal grandparents; Marilyn Smith, paternal grandparents; Betty Jones, Paul Stillday, brothers; Joel Jones, Jr., Robin Jones, Nicholas Jones, Jared Jones, Matthew Hardy, sisters; Larissa Fisherman, Marissa Smith, Latesha Jones, Lakesha Smith, Paula Jones, Tiffany Jones, aunties; Darilyn Jones, Alyssa Bellanger, Lisa Butcher and Irene Cloud, uncles; Michael Jones, Paul Jones, Davis Smith, Ben Cloud, Jr. and Decotah Cloud.

A wake for Jayden will begin at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2014 and will continue until the 1:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, August 19 all at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN with Rev. Tom Pollock officiating. The drum group "Young Eagles" will provide music. Pallbearers for Jayden will be Davis Smith, Mike Jones, Decotah Cloud, Rodney Stillday, Sr., Rodney Stillday, Jr., and Andy Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Darilyn Jones, Lisa Butcher, Della Jones, June Wilber, Betty Jones, Michelle Strong, Paul Stillday, Berta Smith, Sharon Cloud, Lance Cloud, Marissa Bugg-Vos, Alyssa Bellanger, Jim Jones and Gerald Cloud. Interment will be held in the Cloud Family Burial Grounds following the service on Tuesday.
