SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the general supervision of Food & Beverage Manager is responsible to oversee assigned kitchen operations of Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Responsible to oversee activities of entire kitchen operations, including personnel to ensure efficiency and smooth operations.

 Prepares work schedules to accommodate business needs, supervises, trains and assigns duties to personnel.

 Responsible for inventory to ensure adequate supplies, food products, and materials are maintained on hand.

 Responsible for routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring equipment remains in working order.

 Inspects food and preparations to ensure quality standards and regulations are maintained.

 Assists Food & Beverage Manager with the development of menus and recipes.

 Responsible to ensure all applicable policies, rules and regulations are adhered to and maintained.

 Analyzes and recognizes deficiencies or problem areas and provides solutions to achieve desired results.

 Responsible for timely and accurate paperwork including: inventory sheets, requisition forms, waste/spoilage reports, call-in reports, evaluations, time sheets, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required the Managing Chef have at least a two year vocational degree with related experience.
