Roselyn Loretta King, 55, of Ponemah, began her spiritual journey on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Nielson Place in Bemidji. She was born on January 18, 1959 in Red Lake, the daughter of Albert "Binger" and Susan (Kingbird) King.

Rose lived and worked in Minneapolis from her early years through most of her adult life. When she moved back to the Ponemah area she enjoyed relaxing and watching the Price Is Right, CSI, NCIS, Maury and Bones.

Rose was preceded in death by her mother; Susan, special friend; Arleigh, sisters; Webby and Bunny, nephews; Royal, Brandon and Harley aunt; Mary, uncle; Mark, grandparents, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughter; Nina King of Ponemah, grandchildren; Sarah King and Zoey King of Ponemah, sisters; Faye King of Ponemah, Thelma (Brian) King of Ponemah, Lorraine (Brian) Olson of Warroad, Theresa (Ernesto) King of Minneapolis, Eva Kingbird of Redby, and Brenda Sayers of Red Lake, brothers; Ronald King of Minneapolis, Verlin "Itto" Kingbird, James "Yummy" Kingbird, Dean Kingbird, and Patrick Norquay all of Redby, special aunt; Loretta Pacheco, and her special pet Turtle, other relatives and many friends.

A wake service for Rose will begin at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 and will continue until the service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 all at Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah with Spiritual Leader Anna Gibbs. Interment will be held at the Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah following the service.
