FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES

Primary Function:

Work with all levels of management, program, and administrative staff to ensure consistency in the planning, evaluation, implementation, and delivery of services. This position has supervisory responsibilities, reporting to the Family & Children Services Executive Director. This is a full-time position with benefits, salary; DOQ.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Plan, coordinate, organize, and direct program operations for all assigned programs within Family & Children Services.

• Determine type, methods, and priorities of services to be provided.

• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and tribal regulations and departmental policies and procedures.

• Assure systematic case reviews are conducted and take appropriate corrective actions as needed.

• Identity training needs and arrange periodic training programs for staff.

• Participate in developing program policies, procedures, and objectives.

• Prepare performance evaluations of all staff under direct supervision.

• Analyze and make appropriate program recommendations including implications of budget, staff, and administrative organization.

• Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.

• Prepare and manage budgets.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree from accredited college/university with a major in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, education; or closely related field.

• Five years supervisory experience.

• Ability to develop, implement, and coordinating social services.

• Knowledge of administrative and budgetary methods and procedures.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and tribal requirements dealing with grants, laws, procedures, billing practices, etc.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check.
