Alexander J. Kingbird was born on May 25, 2014 in Bemidji, MN to Celeste Larsen of Cass Lake, and Joshua Kingbird of Red Lake. He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Richard Larsen and Anita DeMarr of Cass Lake; paternal grandmother, Donna Kingbird, of Cass Lake; aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

A Naming Ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cass Lake on May 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. A wake followed and continued until the time of traditional services on Thursday, May 29, 2014, also at the Veterans Memoria Building. Interment followed.
