Peggy Jean (LaForest) Morse

Peggy Jean Morse, 72, of Bemidji, passed away , Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Peggy was born August 27, 1941 the daughter of William and Louise (LaForest) Morse.

She was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana. She moved with her family to Minnesota in the 1960's. Peggy worked numerous jobs throughout her life. She was a hard working woman. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, playing bingo, watching her soaps and visiting with family and friends. Family was very important to Peggy. She loved her family deeply. She always worried about everyone else and would always help out when she could.

We are going to miss her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Louise (LaForest) Morse and one sister Lorraine Casey.

She is survived by her daughters; Cheryl (Jeff) Holthusen, Della (Ron, Jr.) Cloud and Yvonne Holthusen, sisters; Mary Sue Morse, Jane Ann Bartley, Ginny Besette, Sheila Saur, and Alita Cuchine. 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

A special thank you to the hospice nurses Pat and Annette for all the help and support you have given our family.

A memorial service for Peggy will be held at the Ponemah Community Center on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Father George Ross will officiate.
