Frances Marilyn Elmberg, 71, of Old Agency, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND with her family by her side.

She was born on July 3, 1942 in Old Agency the daughter of Andrew and Catherine (Weaver) Reed.

Frances enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked playing cards, having a barbeque, being at family events, listening to her radio, looking out her window trying to see the deer, sitting around bon fires, watching Wheel of Fortune and CSI. Every one of the kids around the community either knew her as mom or grandma.

Family that Frances joins again are her parents Andrew and Catherine, husband Raymond, Sr., son Raymond, Jr., brothers, sisters and grandsons.

Frances leaves family to cherish her memory which include her sons; Gordy (Dawn), Kerry and Dean, daughters; Rhonda (Steve), Darla, Sherry (Davis), Wendy (Keith) and Jackie (Chuck), sisters; Shirley Lindley, Jane Nelson and Mary Wickenhouser, 29 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter Kiara.

A wake service for Frances will begin at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 and will continue until the 1:00 p.m. service on Friday, April 18, all held at the Onigum Community Center in Onigum. Pallbearers helping to lay Frances to rest will be Ricky Fair, Jr., Anthony Fair, Sr., Robert Elmberg, Sr., Chuck Dares, Jeremiah Smith, Aaron Oothoudt, Andre Flowers and Jacob Bellanger. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Elmberg, Sherry Elmberg, Jackie Dares, Wendy Elmberg, Darla Elmberg, Starr Green, Jessie Elmberg, Tinisha Elmberg, Lorretta Elmberg, Devonna Sam, Katherine Dares, Charlie Dares, Latasha Elmberg, Tatyana Elmberg, Shirley Elmberg, Gordy Elmberg, Kerry Elmberg and Rhonda Lindamood. Interment will be held in the St. John's Episcopal Cemetery at Old Agency.
