Amanda Lynn Holt (Headbird), 36, of Cass Lake was located by her close friends and family on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Dunseith, ND.

She was born on August 24, 1977 in Bemidji, the daughter of Randolph Lee Headbird, Sr. and Patricia Susan (Jones) Wilson.

She met Travis Holt on November 14, 2006 and the two united in marriage two years later to the day at the Fairy Tail Weddings in Grand Forks, ND.

Amanda enjoyed being with her family and attending family gatherings. She loved going to Pow-Wows, going out dancing, watching movies and spending time with her children.

Amanda joins her family on the other side who include her parents; Randy and Patty Sue, brother Brenton, maternal grandmother Delores Jones, maternal grandpa Delmer Jones, paternal grandpa Emmanuel Headbird, Sr. and many uncles.

Family she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband Travis, children; Brenton Wenell, Marcus Holt, Blaine Holt, and Maci Mae Headbird-Feather, brothers; Randy Headbird II, William Headbird, and Christopher Headbird, sister; Endonnis (Jim) Baird, step sisters; Julie (Donnie) Saice and Roberta Wilson, half sister; Nylene Headbird, paternal grandmother Helen Headbird, a special friend Kari Lussier, other relatives and many friends.

A wake service for Amanda will begin at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, and will continue until the 10 a.m. service on Thursday, April 17 all at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake. Rev. Mark R. Olson will officiate. Pallbearers for Amanda will be Mark Hanson, Kevin Bullen, Richard Smith, Robert Thunderhawk, Giizis Roberts and Brandon Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Wind, James Baird, Terry Jones, Chavez Wind, Christopher Headbird, Vydell Jones, Melissa Headbird, Jamie Baird, Brittany Budreau, Sarah Wells-Headbird, Julie Jones, Wanda "Faye" Headbird, Stevie "Rea" Wind, The Search and Rescue Teams of Dunseith, ND. Amanda will be laid to rest in the Prince of Peace Cemetery at Mission/Cass Lake following the service.
