Kaitlyn Marie Brown

Kaitlyn Marie Brown, 14, of Red Lake, MN, journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at her home in Red Lake.

Traditional Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN. A wake will begin at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Red Lake Community Center and will continue until the time of the services. Interment will be at her Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Kaitlyn was born on February 2, 2000, in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Melanie Brown and William Tyler. Kaitlyn was currently attending school at Blackduck High School where she was active in band and loved going to school. Kaitlyn always had a smile and an impact on other kids. She loved listening to music, her cell phone, Facebook, and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by: Mother, Melanie of Minneapolis, Father, William of Red Lake, Dad, Golden Stately of Redby, Sisters, Kaydence Brown of Redby, Jasmine Stately of Redby, Brothers, Dillon Belgarde of Grand Forks, ND Julian Brown-Stately of Redby, Korday Stillday of Red Lake, Maternal Grandparents, Ramona Brown and Melvin Feather Jr. of Red Lake, Paternal Grandmother, Lynette Tyler of Red Lake Special Grandma, Robyn Isham, Great Grandfathers, Melvin Feather Sr. of Red Lake, David Brown Sr. of Red Lake, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother James Tyler, twin sisters, Great Grandparents Alice Brown, Marie and Ben Lawrence, Grandfather, Leonard Stately Jr., Grandmother Geraldine Yellow, Aunt Angela Brown, and Uncle Julius Brown.

Active Casketbearers will be Ben Tyler, Mike Roy, Steve Brown, Melvin Feather III, Michael Melikan, Marcus Tyler, Alternates: James Johnson, Frank Blue, Rain Stately, and Cory Stately.

Honorary Casketbearers will be: Montana Kingbird, Alexis Brown, Erica Kingbird, Cecelia Tyler, Selena Jourdain, Bronson Roy, Alternates: Judy Roy and Virginia Branchaud.
