19th Annual Chippewa Triathlon Now Accepting Registrations Online Event Date: June 14, 2014

CASS LAKE, MN, MARCH 6, 2014: The 19th Annual Chippewa Triathlon will be held in the beautiful

Chippewa National Forest on June 14, with a start time of 7a.m., beginning at the MNDOT Rest Area, located on Highway 2, on the east edge of the city of Cass Lake.

Registrations are being taken online at: chippewatriathlon.com

Printed registration forms are also being mailed to all past triathlon participants.

The fee is $45/per participant for registrations postmarked or completed by April 1st.

The event is limited to 300 participants.

A rising Fee scale goes into effect after April 1.

REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE TAKEN THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

The event course includes canoeing, biking and running. The spectacular 14 Mile Canoe Route takes participants through pristine lakes and portages following the “Pike Bay Connection” located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. The 27 Mile Bike Course weaves through the forest and around many of the lakes traveled during the canoe leg of the event. The 7 Mile Run completes the Chippewa Triathlon and ends at the Norway Beach Campground bordering the sugar sand beach of Cass lake, offering excellent camping accommodations for all ages.
