SLOT TECHNICIAN

RATE OF PAY: According to pay scale

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: February 25, 2014

CLOSES: March 11, 2014

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the prevailing Slot Supervisor is responsible to conduct preventative maintenance and repair slot machines for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Troubleshoots and locates problems in slot machines and makes necessary repairs, following outlined procedures.

 Computes jackpot or hopper fills and pays jackpots as verified by slot machine readout when needed.

 Describe features of games and assists customers by explaining games or other pertinent information.

 Assists with identifying machine malfunctions and participates, as needed, in discussions with vendors in this regards.

 Assists with the moving, installation, conversion and/or upgrades of machines within the Casino.

 Prepares paperwork for malfunctioning machines down on Casino Floor to notify appropriate Supervisor.

 Assists with the Slot Department Inventory as needed, in such areas as preparing parts for shipment, identifying defective parts and compiling lists of parts to be ordered.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required the Slot Technician must have a High School diploma/GED with related experience.
