Shawn Patrick Bugg Sr., age 50, of St. Paul Journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at United Hospital in St. Paul.

He was born on January 16, 1964 in St. Paul the son of Charles and Geraldine (Evans) Bugg.

Shawn grew up on the west side and attended school on the west side.

He was formerly employed as a machinist at Gross’ Given in St. Paul.

One of his many hobbies was working on cars and teaching others how and he was taught by the best his father Charles Bugg.

He enjoyed his family and friends, playing pool, always making people laugh, playing and teaching how to play dominos. He was also known as the great “Hustler”.

Through the years he has made many of friends. He was a wonderful father and a very proud grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Leaving on one of his favorite quotes “I know a little bit about something, and a whole lot bout nothing”.

Shawn is survived by his mother: Geraldine M. Bugg of Waubun, Minnesota; sons: Forrest Bugg (Ashley Christian) of Bemidji, Minnesota, Shawn Patrick Bugg Jr. (Tiffany Torrez) of West St. Paul, Minnesota and Colten Eric Bugg of Rapid City, South Dakota; two grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Annabelle Hicks of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Denise (Theodore) Guinn of Rice Lake, Minnesota, Stephanie (Royce) Kingbird of Bemidji, Minnesota, Terrance “Jack” (Larina) Bugg of St. Paul, Minnesota, Clayton (Elizabeth) Bugg of Duncan, British Columbia Canada and Bette “Booget” Bugg of St. Paul, Minnesota; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dan & Madeline Rain Cloud and Jim and Nancy Evans, his father: Charles Bugg, a brother: Richard Bugg, sisters: Charlene Bugg, Rose Kingbird and Melvina Bugg, an aunt: Owna Kingbird, nephews: Clayton “CJ Bugg” Bugg Jr., Timothy Jackson and Jacob Bugg and by a niece: Charlotte Jackson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Area Council of Churches. Pastor Dan Pack will officiate.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery on the west side of St. Paul, Minnesota.

All night wake will be held on Sunday, February 23rd beginning at 5:00 P.M. at St. Paul Area Council of Churches.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Forrest Bugg, Shawn Bugg Jr., Colton Bugg, Terrance “Jack” Bugg, Clayton Bugg and granddaughters: Rylee and Rylin Bugg.

Casket Bearers will be Chaska Bugg, Charles Bugg, Jerrick Bugg-Sam, Al Sticha, Bob Heitzinger and Ricard Bugg.
