Wanda Lee Johnson, 73, of Cass Lake, MN passed away at her brother Wayne’s home in Cass Lake on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born on December 23, 1939 in Cass Lake the daughter of Clifton and Hazel (Bisson) La Duke.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Clifton and Hazel, brothers; Clifton M. and Curtis R. La Duke and one nephew Bradley LaDuke.

She is survived by her son Eugene Johnson of Bemidji, daughters; Tanisha of Mississippi, Michelle of Wisconsin, and Rosetta of Oklahoma, brother; Wayne

La Duke of Cass Lake, sisters; Joanne Spencer-LaDuke of St. Louis Park, Linda

La Duke-Stahr of Excelsior, MN, Barbara Farley-LaDuke of West Virginia, Susan

La Duke-Veroeven of St. Louis Park.

A memorial mass for Wanda will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Kuriakose Nediakala officiating. Honorary pallbearers for Wanda will be Eugene, Jeffrey, David Stahr and Ricky Stahr. Inurnment will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake following the service at the church.
