TRUST FUND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Red Lake Tribal Council is pleased to announce that a $250.00 distribution for all duly enrolled Red Lake Band members was approved.

DISTRIBUTION OF CHECKS IS SCHEDULED AS FOLLOWS:

 On Reservation Members:

● Red Lake, Redby and Little Rock at the Red Lake Humanities Center

● Ponemah District at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club

SITES WILL BE OPEN ON:

Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

(Please be prepared to show a picture I.D. when picking up your check.)

 Checks that are not picked up at the distribution sites will be mailed on 12/13/13

 Off Reservation Members: Checks will be mailed on Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

 Checks reported as lost will have up to a 60-day waiting period before a new check can be issued unless a $20.00 stop payment fee is paid.

 Please contact your local post office if you suspect your check is lost in the mail. The 60 day waiting period is in effect for lost mail.

 On checks reported as stolen, you will be required to utilize Law Enforcement Services. A $20.00 stop payment fee will be assessed if a new check has to be processed.

 Checks that are not claimed by December 31, 2014 will be voided and returned to the trust account. Those checks WILL NOT be re-issued after December 31, 2014.

The Tribal Enrollment Department will be posting and mailing further information regarding enrollment deadlines and change of address deadlines.
