Police looking for suspects in armed home invasion

WALKER — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating two men who allegedly carried out an armed home invasion Monday night.

According to a press release, the men are both more than 6 feet tall, of thin build and in their mid- to late-thirties . Sheriff Tom Burch believes a woman may be with the men, the release stated.

Just before 7 a.m. Tuesday police received a report of a robbery at a home in the Sugar Point area, near Federal Dam. The homeowner there said two men entered the home Monday night, and assaulted him. They were armed with pistols, the man told police.

The two suspects then stole the victim’s truck, which has since been recovered, Chief Deput Eric Hoglund said Wednesday.
