5 More High Definition Networks Added to Paul Bunyan Television HD Service

(Bemidji, MN) (June 7, 2013) – Paul Bunyan Communications has added five more networks in high definition to PBTV HD service. The networks added in HD include Women’s Entertainment (WE), Oxygen, Independent Film Channel (IFC), American Movie Classics (AMC), and ESPN-U.

WE HD, PBTV channel 636, is the network for women devoted to the wild ride of relationships, from the thrill of getting married, to the drama of family chaos and the excitement of second chances.

Oxygen HD, PBTV channel 637, is geared to young women who devour and share entertainment and pop culture content. Original shows include The Glee Project, Best Ink, Bad Girls Club, Snapped, and more.

IFC HD, PBTV channel 640, is the destination for content with the indie perspective our audience craves. From mandatory cult movies to sharp cool twisted originals and rescued television shows, IFC uncovers, delivers and champions content that is always on, precisely because it is slightly off.

AMC HD, PBTV channel 652, commemorates favorite films from every genre or decade and creates acclaimed original productions, the AMC experience is an uncompromising celebration of great stories.

ESPN-U HD, PBTV channel 554, is available to PBTV HD subscribers who also subscribe to PBTV Extra. ESPNU delivers live game action from 26 Division I Conferences including ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC.

PBTV HD is delivered in the widescreen 16:9 format that provides a picture with a resolution over five times that of standard television and the 4:3 format. The service can be added to PBTV service for $9.95 per month. Consumers must have standard PBTV service to subscribe to PBTV HD service. $9.95 monthly charge for PBTV HD is an equipment fee, not a programming fee. PBTV HD subscribers will receive the HD channels of the digital channels they subscribe to. Additional subscription(s) may be required to receive all HD channels available. There is a one month minimum subscription required. Service availability depends upon location and some restrictions may apply.
