Louetta Schoenrock

Louetta Jean Schoenrock, “Inyan Toh wi (Blue Stone Woman) age 41 of Summit, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

She was born on November 11, 1971 in Sisseton, South Dakota the daughter of Jeff & Rose Schoenrock.

Louetta was named after three Kunsis.

Her hobbies and interests included gardening, cooking, thrift store shopping and watching her favorite basketball team The Boston Celtics.

She was a very loving and caring woman who taught us to be strong and never give up.

Louetta especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survived by husband: Thomas Bartunek; children: Roland “Toby” Schoenrock, Brian Bartunek, Brooke Bartunek, Rosa Bartunek, Tanner Bartunek, Lily Bartunek, Pamela Bartunek and Emma Bartunek; grandchildren: Britina Bartunek, Brileigh Bartunek, Tabitha Schoenrock and Isabella Ries; her father: Jeffrey Schoenrock of Peever; a sister: Rhonda Schoenrock of Summit; mother-in-law: Joan Feather of Peever and father-in-law: Errol Bartunek Sr. of Yankton; two nephews, a niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother: Rose Schoenrock, an uncle: Russell Schoenrock, a nephew: Austin Schoenrock and by her grandma: Jeanette Schoenrock.

Funeral services for Louetta Jean Schoenrock will be held on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at The Summit Hall/Community Center. Reverend Enright BigHorn will officiate.

“Iyakapta” will be the Drum Group.

An all night wake will be held on Friday, January 25th beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Summit Hall/Community Center.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Joan Feather, Darlene Pipeboy, Rose Chase, Barb Ryan, Doris Bursheim, Yvette Kohl, LouAnn Phelps, Mary Gapp and Jani Paschka No Heart.

Casket Bearers will be Roland “Toby” Schoenrock, Brian Bartunek, Tanner Bartunek, Errol Bartunek, Josh Ries, Kelly Feather, Montel Campbell and Justin Poreske.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at The Peoples State Bank in Summit.
