Phyllis "Giminonadequay" (Gifted Woman) Lorine Jourdain

Phyllis Lorine Jourdain Gi-mino-na-de-quay (Gifted Woman), age 82, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, September 3, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on October 19, 1929 in Red Lake, Minnesota the daughter of Charles Roberts and Jenny Kelly.

Phyllis was formerly employed as an assembly line worker at Honey Well.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, bingo and going to casinos. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and being with her family.

Survived by sons: Roy Roberts and Arthur Bellanger both of Minneapolis, Daniel Bellanger Jr. of Red Lake, Minnesota, Joe “Tiny” Bellanger of Warm Springs, Oregon and Melvin Jourdain of Red Lake, Minnesota; a daughter: Lorraine Bellanger of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; eighteen grand children and twenty-five great grandchildren; brothers: Norman “Butch” Roberts of Minneapolis, Douglas Roberts of Bemidji, Minnesota and Dwight Roberts of Minneapolis; a sister: Alberta Zamora of Minneapolis; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Phyllis Jourdain will be held on Thursday, September 6th, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at The Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, Minnesota.

All night wakes will be held on Tuesday, September 4th and Wednesday, September 5th beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, Minnesota.
