    RED LAKE -- Two Red Lake were sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Duluth to seven years in prison for unrelated offenses that occurred last year on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. Fernando Luis May-Gil-Garcia, 29, was convicted of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. May-Gil-Garcia plead guilty to assaulting a woman multiple times in August 2013 while she was holding a baby and unable to fend off the blows, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.     BEMIDJI -- A Cass Lake man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with an 11-year-old girl multiple times. Lance Arnold Kingbird, 46, was arrested Saturday after the girl's mother reported the crime to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
