    On Thursday, September 24, 2015 the Red Lake Lady Warriors Volleyball teams hosted Fond du Lac, taking the best of 5 series 3-1. FDL won the first game 26-24, and Red Lake won 3 in a row for the win. Earlier in the week Red Lake defeated Halstad on their home court. Today's win was Red Lake's fourth consecutive win of the season, having lost their first 2 matches. They are now 4-2 on the season. The varsity girls will travel to Indus on September 28th, then host Blackduck on September 29th....

    The Red Lake Warriors played their third home game of the season on Friday, September 18, 2015, falling to Pine River 64-20 Down 40-6 in the last minute of play in the first half, Red Lake scored two quick touchdowns to pull within 22 points at 40-18 at the end.     On Wednesday, September 16, 2015 Red Lake Chemical Health Programs sponsored their annual "Back to School Fest" at the Red Lake Ball Field area and the Cage. Starting at 5 PM, school bags were handed out to students, there were carnival games and prizes including new bikes, and a hot dog lunch was served.     On Thursday, September 10, 2015 the Red Lake Lady Warriors Volleyball teams hosted Cass Lake. The Varsity won the first game, but Cass Lake came back to win the next three games, winning the set 3-1.     PARK RAPIDS, Minn. -- DNA on a cigarette butt has landed Duane Lampl, 24, of Park Rapids, in prison. According to court records, in June of 2014 he burglarized a cabin on South Dinner Lake Loop, Park Rapids, taking a well pump and tank, 10 sheets of drywall, lumber and some tools and household items. He was charged after DNA on a cigarette butt left at the site was traced to him via a state database.     ST. PAUL – Drunken driving arrests and fatalities are continuing a five-year downward trend, said the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Thursday. The recently released Minnesota Impaired Driving Facts 2014 report shows impaired-related traffic fatalities dropped to 91 in 2014, down 24 percent compared to 121 in 2010 leading to the five-year downward trend.
