On Wednesday, September 18, 2014, the Red Lake Warrior JV team hosted Laporte. The Warriors drew first blood immediately, Laporte answered in their first drive, with Red Lake coming right back with a TD run by Michael Seki Jr. Seki would continue to score, ending the afternoon with 5 touchdowns. Another nice play was a 40 yard TD pass to Justin Barrett from Kendell Whitefeather in the 4th quarter. The JV team won last week 30-6 in Kelliher. On September 16, 2014 the Ponemah School dedicated their new school sign that was recently finished a week or so ago. Commissioned by Patrick Desjarlait Jr., the project was a couple years in the making and beautifully represented the community of Ponemah. Lunch was served to those participating in the dedication, followed by Honor Songs by the Ponemah School Drum, along with comments from Ponemah School Principal Mary Trapp, Red Lake Tribal Chairman Darrell Seki Sr., Superintendent Anne...
