On September 16, 2014 the Ponemah School dedicated their new school sign that was recently finished a week or so ago. Commissioned by Patrick Desjarlait Jr., the project was a couple years in the making and beautifully represented the community of Ponemah. On Wednesday, September 18, 2014, the Red Lake Warrior JV team hosted Laporte. The Warriors drew first blood immediately, Laporte answered in their first drive, with Red Lake coming right back with a TD run by Michael Seki Jr. Seki would continue to score, ending the afternoon with 5 touchdowns. Another nice play was a 40 yard TD pass to Justin Barrett from Kendell Whitefeather in the 4th quarter. The JV team won last week 30-6 in Kelliher. The 7th Annual Duluth Urban Office Picnic was held at Lincoln Park in Duluth on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Some of the activities included gunny sack races, Bigfoot races, a Water Balloon toss, a Potato Dance, Tug-O-War and Musical Chairs....
