    MORTON COUNTY, N.D. — A law enforcement consultant who trains police dogs is among those condemning the use of guard dogs at a pipeline protest site and says she plans to file a complaint about the dogs’ owner.     From KKCQ Fosston Radio Brett Sundquist ran for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Greyhounds to the season opening win at Red Lake. Krister Anderson scored the first touchdown of the game for Fosston on a ten yard fumble recovery.     WALKER—Cass County Board Tuesday adopted a 2017 preliminary levy of $21,556,545, or 4.81 percent more than the 2016 levy. The county's tax rate would rise from 31.423 this year to 32.716 in 2017. This would mean about $22 more county taxes for a $200,000 homeowner, Josh Stevenson, incoming administrator said.     BEMIDJI—Cass County authorities are seeking help in locating a woman who went missing from a Motley, Minn., group home. According to a news release Wednesday from the Cass County Sheriff's Office, Alice Whim, 21, is missing from a residential group home on 61st Avenue SW in Motley. A new analysis of data collected by the Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights from the 2013-14 school year shows that more than 6.5 million students, or about 13 percent in grades K-12, missed 15 or more days of school.
