    The Red Lake Warriors opened their football season on Friday, August 29, 2014, hosting an explosive team from Fertile. Down 33-0 at the half, Red Lake had trouble putting together any real offense against a stingy Fertile defense, falling 53-0 in the end. The Warriors won't see home action again until September 19 when they will host Bagley at 4 PM. They will travel to Mahnomen on September 5th and Blackduck on September 12th.
