CASS LAKE -- The U.S. Department of Education announced Friday more than $50.4 million in grant funding has been awarded to American Indian tribally controlled colleges and universities. RED LAKE, MN - The Seven Clans Casino held their 3rd Annual Car Show on Saturday beginning at 10 AM, August 29, 2015. BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Speedway points season came to an end Sunday night, with track championships held for each of eight classes of cars. With many points battles to close to call prior to race time the tension was high both in the pits and for the fans in the stands. The Red Lake DNR held its Annual "Take a Kid Fishing" event at Fuller's Lake in Red Lake on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 10 AM to 2 PM. WALKER-- A Walker man arrested for felony drug sale after Leech Lake Tribal Police and the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force executed a search warrant and found methamphetamine, prescription pills and firearms in April at his residence has been sentenced to a year in jail.
