On Wednesday August 13th 2014, the Red Lake Conservation Enforcement Department, along with the Red Lake Police Department held their 2nd Annual "COPS AND BOBBERS" fishing event at Fullers Lake from 11 AM until 2 PM. Their first order of business was the swearing in of all remaining winners of the July 2014 Red Lake Tribal Run-Off Elections. In those Run-Off Elections, Don Cook was re-elected for another term as Tribal Secretary, defeating challenger Sam Strong by a difference of 138 votes, 1464 to 1326.
